6th Annual Washington College Piano Festival
Saturday April 12, 10:00AM (all Day)

The 6th Annual Washington College Piano Festival will be held entirely in person. This event invites participants of all ages to enhance their piano skills in an immersive and educational environment. Attendees will have the chance to:

• Take piano lessons with Dr. Woobin Park, Washington College piano faculty
• Participate in a Workshop/ Masterclass
• Recital opportunity and Compete for prizes in the Washington College Piano Competition

Our featured guest artist, pianist Wonmi Kim, will teach a master class for selected participants and perform a solo recital at 7:30 PM in Hotchkiss Recital Hall.

Application Information:
To apply, please submit the following by March 15, 2025:

• Completed application form
• Audition recording
• $75 application fee (Washington College students are exempt)

Applicants will be notified of their acceptance no later than April 1, 2025. Accepted applicants do not need to pay an additional participation fee.

• 10:00–10:30 AM: Registration/Welcome — Hotchkiss Recital Hall Lobby
• 10:30 AM–12:30 PM: Master Class with Wonmi Kim — Hotchkiss Recital Hall
• 12:30–2:00 PM: Lunch (light lunch provided) — Hotchkiss Recital Hall Lobby
• 1:00–2:00 PM: Campus Tour (optional) — Meet in Gibson Lobby
• 1:30–3:00 PM: Piano Lessons with Dr. Park — Hotchkiss Recital Hall
• 3:30–5:00 PM: Piano Festival Student Showcase/Competition — Hotchkiss Recital Hall
• 5:00–7:00 PM: Dinner at Hodson Dining Hall (closes at 6:00 PM) or explore downtown Chestertown (not included in fees)
• 7:15 PM: Announcement of Showcase Prize Winners — Hotchkiss Recital Hall
• 7:30 PM: Wonmi Kim Solo Recital — Hotchkiss Recital Hall

(Concert admission is included for student participants.)
